Like a bird… Nelly Furtado
The singer has presented to people her debut album «Whoa Nelly» in September, 2000. It had the worldwide success; mainly thanks to a single «I’m like a Bird». This single won first places of charts in Canada, USA and later – all over the world. Many famous performers appraised her talent and invited to work together.
On September, 20th, 2003 Nelly bore a daughter Nevis. A month later, she presented her new album «Folklore» that was very gentle and sincere. One of the compositions — a song «Forca» — became the official anthem of European Football Championship. Nelly was singing this song while the Portugal was playing.
Recently Nelly Furtado has completed the work on the collection of her hits («The Best of Nelly Furtado») that includes her best compositions since first single. It will include three new songs, too. The presentation is planned for November, 15th, 2010.
