Prince Carl Philip
Carl Philip Edmund Bertil, Prince of Sweden, Duke of V?rmland – was born on May 13, 1979. The second child and only son of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia. He’s got two sisters, Crown Princess Victoria and Princess Madeleine.
He is the second successor, Lt. Navy, despair racer and an expert on graphic design. When he was born, he had to become the Crown Prince of Sweden, but a year after his birth came a new law. The new amendment says that the throne should inherit is not the first born son but first born child. Thus his elder sister Victoria became the Crown Princess.
Interests
The Prince loves nature and enjoys spending time outdoors. When he was young he had been a Scout. When time permitted he had enjoyed motor sports. In the summer of 2005 he made his racing debut in a go-cart competition in Stockholm. The Prince also holds a hunting license and enjoys participating in the Royal Hunts.
