The Lovely Bones Movie
“My name is Salmon. Like the fish. First name – Susie. I was 14 years old when I was murdered. On December, 6th, 1973…”.

The film transfers us to America in the beginning of 70th years of the last century. It’s very nice to watch this film. A bright picture, like taken from a postcard, is made really great! In time, Andrew Lesnie’s bold shooting (”The Lord of the Rings”) and non-standard for Hollywood approach increase the strain.

But it’s necessary to notice that director doesn’t give attention to one concrete thing. He tries to show the history in all its aspects, doing accents now on existence of the girl after death, now on the psychology of the killer, now on the life of close after the tragedy. As a result we have got the incomplete picture which does not give us the clear answers to questions.
